Kerw Gardens

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, usually referred to simply as Kew Gardens, are extensive gardens and botanical glasshouses between Richmond and Kew in southwest London, England. The director is Professor Stephen D. Hopper, who succeeded Professor Sir Peter Crane. The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is also the name of the organisation that runs Kew Gardens and Wakehurst Place gardens in Sussex. It is an internationally important botanical research and education institution with 700 staff and an income of £56 million for the year ended 31 March 2008, as well as a visitor attraction receiving almost 2 million visits in that year.

Kew Palace

Kew Palace is the smallest and most intimate of the royal palaces. First used by the Royal Family in 1728, the Palace was finally purchased by George III in 1781 as an annex to the White House, and is now located within the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

Hampton Court Palace is one of the world’s finest Royal Palaces. Set in 60 acres of beautiful gardens and home to some of Britain’s most famous Kings and Queens, it’s unique history, splendour and sheer scale continue to impress. This Palace of many stories overlooks the river Thames and is a magnificent blend of sumptuous Tudor décor and Wren’s baroque architecture. It was built by Cardinal Wolsey who gave it to Henry VIII in a vain attempt to retain his favour.The Palace enjoys extensive parkland and gardens, and includes the famous maze.
